Brenda & Jewel

I have been bringing my almost 3 year old Golden Retriever, Jewel, to Pet Spa since November of 2009, when her behaviorist suggested that Jewel needed more interaction and exercise than she was currently getting. I started my search for a suitable cage less day care and finally came upon Pet Spa. I called and spoke to Brett at length, really putting him through the ringer so to speak, as to just what his and his staff's qualifications were, to care for my baby. Satisfied with his responses, I went to check out his facility and get a tour.

I was even more impressed at the pristine condition of every square inch! While there, I apologized for asking such tough questions and do you know the response I received? He said "No, we like people that ask a lot of questions because it shows that they really care about their "kids"! This impressed me even more!

I left Jewel there for the day, later that week and her demeanor when picking her up, proved even more that she was treated well by everyone there, and had a great time playing with the other dogs! She was totally tired out and was calmer than she'd ever been, that night and for the first few times I took her.

Now, 2 years later, it is by far, the highlight of Jewels week when Thursday comes and she knows she is going to spend the day with all of her friends at Pet Spa!  She has all of the interaction and exercise she could possibly need, as she plays all day with her "fur-friends" and is cared for by their human counterparts! The caring demeanor and personal attention that she  and I receive from the wonderful staff ( Brett, Juan, Jennie and everyone else that works there) make it a totally positive experience in every way. When I go to pick her up, she doesn't even want to leave! As soon as we park in front of the building in the morning, she is wagging uncontrollably and cannot wait to get in to start her day of fun!

I would (and have) recommend this wonderful facility to anyone that needed a similar experience for their pet, whether it be boarding, grooming or day care. The only drawback is that their hours don't always coincide with mine, so I can only take her one day a week!
